Reader Guidelines

The Promoter is committed to providing a welcoming and safe environment for the Clients where the Reader provides professional services. As such, the Promoter has outlined guidelines for the Readers. Readers are expected to uphold and comply with the Guidelines.
Complaints Process. The Reader will adhere to the following steps when an issue arises with a Client:
Step 1: Try to Resolve First. The Reader should first try to resolve the issue with the Client. If applicable, the Reader could explain to the Client that said Client was nodding in agreement with the information shared by Reader and as such the Reader understood that they had properly connected with the Client.
Step 2: Refund. In their attempts to resolve the issue, the Reader should consider if a partial or full refund is merited.
Step 3: Advise the Promoter. If the Reader believes the Client is not being genuine with their complaint, the Reader will immediately advise the Promoter of the situation.
The Promoter reserves the right to make any decisions, in its sole discretion, deems necessary or appropriate in accordance with the Vendor Terms and Conditions.
Connection with Client. Within the first 5 minutes of each Reading, the Reader must confirm the connection with the Client is accurate by asking the Client if the information provided resonates with them. If the information does not resonate the Reader is encouraged to end the Reading and provide a full refund to the Client.
Health Break. The Promoter encourages the Reader to take a health break if the Reader is experiencing difficulties in connecting, in providing guidance, clarity or insights to the Client.
Locating Client. If a Client has signed up, the Reader can search for the Client by walking around and even going outside of the Event Hall to call out the person’s name. The Promoter encourages the Reader do not spend too much time locating a Client.
Neutral and Safe Reading. The Reader will remain neutral and will not discuss any conspiracy theories or politics or provide any medical advice during the Reading. The Reader should not discuss the Client’s sexuality unless specifically asked and should remain respectful in the exchange.
Timers. If a Reader uses a timer, the timer must be turned off immediately after it rings. Note: All capitalized terms used herein and not otherwise defined shall have the meanings ascribed to such terms in the Vendor Terms and Conditions.
Vendor Guidelines
The Promoter wants all its Vendors to enjoy their time and to express themselves freely, as long as a professional environment is maintained. As such, the Promoter has outlined guidelines for the Vendors. Vendors are expected to uphold and comply with the Vendor Guidelines.
Advertisement. The Vendor are not to advertise, comment or respond to comments on the Promoter’s advertisement. The Vendor is however encouraged to share the Promoter’s advertisement on its social media platforms or website.
Alcohol, Cannabis and Smoking. The Vendor will not bring or consume alcohol or cannabis and shall not smoke at the Event Site at any time.
Attire. The Vendor will maintain a professional image while at the Event by adhering to the Promoter’s personal appearance policy.
Cell Phone Use. The Vendor will have its cell phone on silent or vibrate mode during Operating Hours and will refrain from using the cell phone at its Licensed Area except in cases of emergency.
No Aggressive Sales. No selling or soliciting of Clients is permitted of goods or services outside of the Vendor’s Licensed Area. For greater clarity, the Vendor understand it will only engage with Clients in front or at its booth.
No Open Flames. The Vendor will not use any candles or open flames within the Event Site at any time. This prohibition includes but is not limited to the use of candles, torches, burning of sage or palo santo or any other items that produce an open flame. This measure is in place to prevent the risk of fire and potential damage to the Event Site from melted wax or other fire-related hazards.
No Scented Products. Essential oils and scented products such as cosmetics, fragrances, hair sprays, deodorants, shampoos, lotions, body gels, laundry detergents and fabric softeners may trigger sensitivities or aggravate asthma, allergies and other medical conditions in certain individuals. Wherever practicable, the Vendor will eliminate use of these scented products and use unscented safe alternatives. The Vendor will not use any essential oil drops or sprays at the Event Site.
No Violence. The Promoter wants to foster a positive community for the Vendors and Clients. The Promoter will not tolerate any violent, racist, sexist, vulgar or otherwise objectionable behaviour that injures, offends, causes or threatens harm to other Vendors or Clients, individuals or groups as well as unwelcome sexual advances and solicitations.
Other Vendors. The Vendor will be respectful and considerate to the other vendors at an Event or Events, as such the Vendor will not (a)speak disparagingly about other vendors or any individuals or groups; (b) make excessive noise or interfere with a Reading or any services being offered around or near its Licensed Area.
